Police investigate murder of girl, 17, in Gombe

The police in Gombe say that they are investigating the gruesome murder of a 17-year-old girl, Miss Lilian Samuel, by some unknown assailants.
Mr Fwaje Atajiri, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Gombe State, said this, while speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Gombe on Sunday.
He said that the girl was killed by the assailants on Saturday night in the Tumfure neighbourhood of Gombe.
