Sprint has stared
rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for its
version of the Samsung Galaxy S5 . Many
members of our forums have reported they
started receiving the update this morning.
The download size for the update is 898.44MB
and owners of the Galaxy S5 will need 3GB of
free internal storage to install it. Sprint's
message also states that after Lollipop is
installed, the phone will have its available
storage space reduced by at least 950MB.
The new version number for the Spring Galaxy S5
will be G900PVPU1AOA6. In addition to Lollipop,
the update will add an "enhanced" voice-over-Wi-
Fi interface. It will also remove the Lumen tool
bar. Once you've got it installed on your own
phone, be sure to chime in with the other Galaxy
S5 owners on your experience with it!
